Tho both girls liked the kiss.. they love their men more. No real Yuri there! :) They are just messing with Heero's mind. Also.. for the person who thought that I was a bit too.. graphic.. :> I can get worse....)
ok.. i'm posting a G rated version of chappy 5.5 in front of 6... so those of you who don't want to read chapter 5.5 don't have to...:)
Papa Zechs - Part 6
By Caliko
Relena woke to the sick feeling of being carried upside down. Her hands and feet were bound, her eyes blindfolded. A thick, rubbery gag was in her mouth, causing her jaws to ache. Her captors shoulder was pushed up under her belly, and he was slowly rubbing circles on the smooth back of her thighs.
His soft hair tickled her waist, and his breath feathered lightly against her bare skin.
Experimentally, she squirmed, trying to make him drop her. He retaliated by laying a sharp smack over her butt. She winced, and settled down to think of another plan.
They came to a stop, and Relena heard a what sounded like a car trunk being open. A sudden sense of falling whipped past her consciousness, and she landed on something soft. Forcing herself to breath through her nose, she regained her breath.. just after the lid slammed shut.
She moaned, frustrated, the sound echoing of the metal walls of her prison. She could feel the soft cotton of a quilt underneath her, and a fan blowing into her face to keep the heat down. The air was cold, as if there were an opening to the outside world.
She started to scream around the gag, but gave up when it came out as a near silent whimper.
:::DAMMIT! I have to escape!:::
Her shoulders were starting to ache, as her hands were tied tightly behind her back. The quilt gave no comfort, as her weight slowly crushed her fists.
Relena raised her feet, slamming them into the side of the trunk.
:::Maybe someone will hear!::: She thought, keeping the attack up.
The car stopped, and turned off. Minutes later, she felt cool, fresh air on her cheeks, and her captor picked her up.
He carried her a short distance, before opening up a door and bringing her inside. He dropped her on something soft, and she heard a door shut.. then lock.
Footsteps came closer, and she was rolled over onto her belly. Relief flooded her wrists as he unbound them. Without thinking, she pushed herself up and swung blindly.
A low grunt came to her ears.. a low, familiar grunt. It was the first sound he made.
She was pushed back onto the couch, the tweedy backrest scratching her tender shoulders. She didn't fight him as he rebound her hands in front of her.
He moved away from her. She heard his feet walking on a tiled floor, then the sound of water pouring into something plastic. A coffee machine groaned, pushing out the hot liquid. The pungent fragrance of his favorite dark Columbian roast filled the room, confirming her suspicions of his identity. She at last knew who it was.
She could feel his gaze on her, staring, before he walked up behind the couch. Gently, he ran his hand over her cheek, before deftly removing the gag.
Relena opened and closed her mouth, forcing her jaw muscles to relax.
"Heero... why did you bring me here?" She asked, her voice low.
He didn't answer her. Silently, he cupped the back of her neck, drawing her close to his body. Closer, until her lips barely touched his.
"Relena..." he said, the whisper brushing against her ear.. "Don't leave me!"
A tear fell from her eye, and he kissed it away.... "Don't cry..."
He untied her hands, smiling when she brought her arms around him.
"I love you." He said, for the first time.
"Heero..." She sighed, her arms tightening... "I love you, too! I won't leave."
"Good... I would only have to follow you."
Heero stood on the pathway outside of Duo's cottage, staring at his surroundings. It was the first time he had been here, and he had to admit that he was impressed. He would never have thought that the sloppy 02 pilot would have the patience to keep the place neat. Yet, the driveway was clean, the grass was cut, and the shrubbery was even trimmed. If he didn't know better... he would think that he was staring at another persons home.
Yet.. there was Duo's bike parked in the driveway.
:::Speak of the devil, and he'll appear...::: He thought, watching as Duo stuck his braided head out the door.
"Heero! C'mon in! Everyone is already here!"
He walked down the pathway to the porch, stopping just short of the doorway. Glancing around him just one more time, he cocked an eyebrow and looked back at his friend.
"You do your own gardening?" He asked, before stepping through the door.
"What? Oh, no... I just do this guy's science homework for him.. he does the work." The braided pilot replied, closing the door.
The house was as neat inside, as it was out.
"He does the housework, too?"
"Naaa.. That's Nina... I do her math."
Heero shook his head, wondering at how Shinigami ALWAYS lands on his feet.
Duo led him to the kitchen, where a war council was obviously in session. Hilde was making coffee, while Trowa and Quatre were sorting through some papers. Wufei just sat back, deep in thought, with his chair tilted against the wall.
"Ok, now that we are all here.. what's your plan, Maxwell?" Heero asked, as Wu slammed the chair down and opened his eyes.
"If the Earth feared another rebellion.. would they call on the gundams to save them?" Duo asked.
"Is your entire plan BASED on that assumption? Maxwell, you idiot! We DESTROYED them, remember?" Wu shook his head, reminding himself that he knew better than to listen to this idiot.
"Wait, Wu.. Hold up.. They KNOW that Heero's gundam is gone, but did we ever tell them that we destroyed ours? Or did we allow them to ASSUME it? I don't remember even mentioning it to anyone... do you?"
"No.. I didn't. I just..."
"You just didn't want to talk about it.. so no one brought up the subject. Did anyone confirm the assumption?"
No one had. Heero was staring at Wu, amazed. "Chang, you were a Preventer! You didn't tell anyone at the agency that the gundams were destroyed?"
"Lady Une never asked. Why should I cart out my business for them to inspect?"
"Well, let's look at what we have. One, the Earth and it's colonies are pacifists. They have no weapons to protect themselves. Two, they can be led to believe that the gundams still exist. Three, we have two computer genius's here, capable of hacking into their system and simulate an invasion. Four.. they come to us, but, 'We're just kids! You can't expect us to fight!' Five, we blackmail them into giving us our independence back. After which, we play a holographic battle scene out in space, and Heero and Hilde trick thier computers into 'seeing' it. Instant battle, instant results, instant freedom."
He sat back, waiting for the applause.
"You really ARE an idiot! It will NEVER work!" This came from Quatre, so you can imagine the remarks everyone else made.
After ducking the two apples, three oranges, and one scimitar, Duo asked the one question that no one else could answer...
"Ok.. so what kind of ideas do all of YOU have? Or, are we stuck in the hands of Zech's parentage indefinitely?"
"You know, Heero.. It's really not that bad of a plan." Trowa said, ignoring the shocked stares aimed at him.
Duo merely smirked, saying, "SEE!! Trowa LIKES it!"
"I'm going to regret this..." Heero mumbled, rolling his sleeves up and setting his computer up on the table.
Hilde set a cup of coffee down next to his laptop,
"Heero.. I'm sorry if that little kiss with Relena bothered you. We had to make it look realistic, you know."
She shrugged, smiling, oblivious to his anger.
"Can I work with someone else?" Heero asked, looking around. Until he got this interloper out of his house.. he didn't want to be anywhere NEAR her! He might end up strangling her.
"Nope. "
"Heero, can you check my code?" Hilde asked later on. She was working on the initial program that would trick the military computers into seeing a threat, and didn't want to go on until her work was double checked. Going on with bad code would set them back too far.
"Not bad." He admitted, looking over her shoulder. "A little clumsy, but not bad. Here, try this." He typed in a few lines, smirking at the obvious awe that appeared on her face. "It's a little more refined, hmmm?"
"Yes, definatly. I never even thought of doing that." She admitted, taking a sip of her coffee. "How is your part coming?" She asked, referring to the holographic work.
"I'm splicing together recordings done on us during our space battles. Oz kept everything.. it was an organization of packrats, and the Preventers inherited the files." He replied, picking up his own mug.
"I still don't know how you're going to make it look like an entirely different enemy."
"That's the beauty of it. Shortly after the Mariemaya incident, a shipment of mobile suits was hijacked before they reached the decommission point. They were never found. If this cockeyed plan works, it will be because the Preventers will remember that."
"What? Duo never told me that." Hilde said, surprised.
"He never knew. This plan was sheer luck."
Heero drained his mug, and turned back to his screen, ignoring Hilde's confusion.
"Get back to work. We only have a week before we're due back." He said, continuing his work on the hologram.
In the new, rebuilt presidential quarters of Earth
"Mr. President!" The young intern came running into the office, panic written on his freckled face. "You asked to be informed immediately if there were ever a threat to the peace."
The President looked up. Staying calm, he said, "Donnel! Calm down! Now, slowly. What have you heard?"
The red headed assistant stopped in front of the presidents desk, took a deep breath, and started his report more slowly.
"We've begun to receive rumors that the missing mobile suits have surfaced on colony L3. Strange noises have been reported in the middle of the night, and missing supplies stolen right from the docks. Leading citizens have turned up missing, after reporting that they had seen the mobile suits. Put together with the fact that many retired soldiers have found the colony to their liking lately... and the people start to worry about another incident."
"Donnel, I don't want you to mention this to anyone. I'll get the Preventers to look into it, but we don't need a panic just yet. Call Lady Une immediately, please."
"Yes, sir!"
Donnel bowed, then sharply turned around to follow his orders. He nervously placed the call, his fingers shaking with dread. The peace must not be broken.
The phone rang shrilly in the kitchen. Heero looked up from his computer, stretched, and picked it up off of the cradle.
"H'lo."
"Heero? Have you heard?" Relena's voice came over the handset, agitation making it shrill.
"Heard what?" He asked, glad that Duo did not have the visual option on his phone. His lips were tight, in smug, knowing smile, and he knew that Relena would smell a rat.
"Milliardo was just called in to investigate rumors of an uprising on L3.. something about missing Mobile Suits being attacking, and someone openly recruiting soldiers!"
:::::Hah! Mobile suits attacking? Leave it to the people to exaggerate. At this point.. they wouldn't need to do much.::::
"Relena, calm down. It's probably nothing."
"Do you really think so?" She asked him, worried.
"I know so. Look, I'll be home in a week, ok?"
"Yes, I guess." She said, miffed that he wasn't taking her seriously.
"Good bye, Relena." (Click)
::::::This stupid plan is actually working!:::::
Meanwhile in the living room
"Move over!" Wufei's voice growled, as he pushed first Quatre, then Trowa off.
For some reason, he got stuck sharing the convertible couch with the other two... and he ended up in the middle. It wouldn't be that bad if Duo had supplied enough pillows. He rolled over, pushing Quatre to the edge of the mattress with his feet before rubbing his stiff shoulders.
"Share the pillow, Wu!" Trowa complained, trying to slide it out from under the other pilots head.
"I was here first! You could have went to bed earlier, then you could have grabbed it."
"You don't have to be so stingy." Quatre said, distracting Wu long enough for Trowa to grab the object in question.
Wufei spun around, trying to get it back, and Quatre used that opportunity to take the blanket.
Laughing, he said, "Hey, Trowa.. There's plenty of room on the floor."
"Fine. The pillow is big enough for two. At least your not stingy."
"INJUSTICE!"
