AN: It has come to my attention that in a previous chapter
I referred to Hilde as being Duo's girlfriend instead of his wife.
Let me just state right now that I made a mistake and that they
are married. Now, as far as this story is going, I am still debating
whether or not there will be a lemon in the future. Even though
I do not write lemons, my friend, The Raven Priestess, has offered
to write one for me, should I get enough requests for one. Raven
is also a big-time lemon reader/writer and I'm sure she'd be happy
to write yet another one

*cough* Well, on with the fic!
Very Many Little Things
Day OneThe Plot Thickens
"No."
"I'm afraid so."
"..." Heero turned away in both anger and disgust. Trowa
had just told him about their friends *plans* and if he didn't
know better he'd swear they were on Relena's side.
Wait a minute
Heero turned around suddenly.
"Why are you telling me all this, Trowa?"
Trowa put his hands in his pockets. "Just thought you might
like to know. I do owe you a favor, after all."
Heero put his own hands in his own pockets. "And how do I
know you're not part of this plot, as well?"
"I guess you don't, but are you willing to take that chance,
especially with what Duo and Hilde are planning?"
Heero closed his eyes and shuttered. Dammit. If Relena weren't
so stubborn we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
Heero opened his eyes again. "So what're you going to do
to help me?"
"What makes you think I'm going to help you?" Trowa
asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Because you owe me a favor." Heero said smugly.
Both men smirked.
Relena sighed and shifted in an attempt to get comfortable. What's
taking so long? She glanced over and saw Heero and Trowa smirking.
Oh great, she thought, now I'm in for it.
She looked down at her watch and was surprised to see that it
was already three in the afternoon. That drive must have been
longer than I thought. She grinned. But I bet it was much
longer for Heero
Just then she jerked her head up at the sound of the driver's
side door opening. She saw Heero get in and was shocked when he
leaned over and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. He pulled back
and smirked with a renewed confidence, and she once again felt
the cold grip of defeat looming just below the surface of her
skin.
He turned on the car and proceeded to follow Trowa on his motorcycle
to some other town she'd probably never been to before.
They must have a good plan for him to risk the temptation of kissing
her. But she wasn't giving up.
This was too personal for her to give up.

Livia reached into her purse and pulled out her ringing cell phone.
She pressed the PHONE button and put it up to her ear.
"Yes?"
"It's done. Heero knows what they're planning. Now it's up
to us."
"Where are Heero and Relena now?"
"They just arrived in town with me. Duo and Hilde showed
up and whisked Relena away just like they planned, now it's just
me and Heero."
"Does he know about our little friend?"
"Not yet."
"Good. He should be arriving at the department store Duo
and Hilde took Relena to right about the time you and Heero get
there. Make sure he sees only the...'controversial' stuff."
"I know. I'll see you when I get back from town."
"Alright."
She went to turn the phone off but she heard Trowa say, "Livia?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
She was frozen for a minute. "I love you, too."
She turned the phone off and stared at it.
"I'll never get tired of hearing that." She smiled.
She turned and headed for her car.
Time to manipulate Quatre and Nelana's part of the plan...heheheh.
* * *
Relena stared wide-eyed at the site before her. No way. No
freakin' way.
She turned her questioning gaze over to Duo and Hilde, who simply
grinned back at her.
"You wanna win, don't you?" Duo asked, crossing his
arms.
"Yes, I do, but-"
"Then buy it."
Her eyes bulged out of her head.
"Absolutely NOT!"
Hilde looked around at the strange looks they were getting.
"Relena, honey," she said, trying to reason with her
friend, "its just lingerie! You don't even have to wear it
for long"
"No."
"But-"
"I said 'no'."
Hilde and Duo looked at each other in despair. They needed her
to buy this skimpy little piece of fabric in front of her or else
the whole plan might be ruined. Just then, they heard a voice
from behind them.
"I think you should buy it, Miss."
All three whirled around to see the face of a very handsome-looking
young man smiling nervously at them.
"I don't mean to be rude," he started quickly, "I
just...well...it's just that you're so beautiful, and...I just
thought you might, well, that you might...look..."
Suddenly a growl was heard from behind them.
The three whirled around again to see an obviously pissed-off
Heero glaring daggers at the man behind them. He was actually
trembling from holding back his rage.
"How....dare you...talk about...my wife..." he
seethed through gritted teeth.
At that moment, a little light went off in Relena's head. Hmm...I've
heard that, sometimes, when a man's claim on a woman is threatened,
he becomes insanely jealous and will do anything to keep
her. Relena's eyes glinted mischievously. Hehehe...
Relena turned around and, to Heero's mortification, picked up
the piece of lingerie and smiled at the 'other man'.
"You really think it would look good on me?" she asked
in a rather sultry tone.
Heero's blood boiled.
"Welly-yes, I, I do. Yes, very nice." The man stuttered.
Remember the money, he kept reminding himself.
"Well then," she said, bringing her hand up and tracing
the line of his jaw, "I guess I'll just have to buy, now,
won't I?"
The man was now quivering, and Heero was about to grab him and
rip his heart right out of his chest with his bare hands.
"Y-yes, yes I guess you will."
She pulled her hand away.
"Alright then," she said, turning around and walking
over to the cashier. Heero took a step towards the man when Duo
suddenly appeared in front of him and began pushing him backwards,
saying, "Man, Heero, you're a lucky guy to have a wife like
that. I'll bet she's the kind of woman who you would give anything
for, just to see her happy-"
Heero glared at him. "Move, Duo, before I kill you."
He said this all-too-calmly.
Duo wisely stepped out of the way, but when Heero looked up the
bastard was gone.
He let out another low, predatorial growl, then turned and watched
Relena smile at the clerk.
"Mine," He grumbled, glaring at her like he was accusing
of her something.
"Mine."
